Randy wrote this song when he noticed that when in pain, he would clench his fists. Remember when Superman would hold a lump of coal and by squeezing it in his hand it would become a diamond? God is making precious gems from our unfinished lives. If you have ever had physical pain or have had a broken heart or you just need a friend, this song is for you! Remember, Jesus loves you.

One Face Into the Wind
Our new CD is now available! Visit our CD Baby page to order online or contact us to request a copy.
Dedicated to the memory of our fathers and to the hope in our sons.
Written from the heart, One Face Into The Wind, is a compilation of original work by Randy and Linda Smith. This work includes songs written over the last 10 years. Randy plays guitar on all the songs as Linda accompanies on a few songs with her Koa wood harp. Our music expresses our various loves and interests such as history in Ireland, the culture of Hawaii, songs dedicated to our family and the ebb and flow of our Christian lives.
As a lyricist, Randy’s hope is that you will be brought to laugher and tears, from McGee’s Pub to Makin’ Diamonds.
Our first CD released in 1997, called Take Me Back, is at this time being remastered and soon will also be available.
For You,
Randy and Linda Smith
Blue
Randy wrote this love song for Linda and it has since been used in several weddings, including his mother’s a few years ago when she was 78 years old.
Old Shoulders
This song was written by Linda. Several years ago she became a little obsessed with the idea of shoulders since she had to have surgery for Frozen Shoulder. The year of pain with physical therapy trying to avoid surgery, then another year of physical therapy after surgery made her reflect on what our shoulders carry and how supportive they are in the emotional realm. This song was written for her mom, Lillian.
Call My Name
We love the ocean. The sun, the fragrance of tropical flowers, apple bananas, sweet papayas, turtles, wonderful varieties of fish and of course swimming with wild dolphins!! Our songs reflect the joy of being together and exploring the islands. A highlight of our trips is when we are able to swim with the dolphins in the open ocean as reflected in the song “Call My Name”. We never touch them nor harass them in any way. But they love to play and stay as long as they like. After about an hour of watching their antics, they are off and another memorable swim is over. We always hope there will be more in the future.
short clip
This is just a short example of our underwater camera. I haven’t even downloaded the other videos on dry land but all great quality.
